1. The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth.
Pros:
- Cty offers a wide range of classes in writing, humanities, math and science
- My sister attended and had a great experience
- I would stay in a dorm room with a room mate, which would help me make lasting friends and become more independent
- There are dances and free time
- CTY is very expencive, i would only be able to go once
- I would have limited options of colleges to attend
- The camp lasts three weeks, which would take up lots of my summer
Pros:
- The camp has two parts, both of which i am interested in, a play writing part and an acting part
- I would get lots of experience and this would really help me with getting into the high school musical.
- Mississippi is very close to where my family is so getting there would be easy
- Part of the camp is song and dance auditions, i am not an excellent dancer so that would give me a disadvantage
- I wouldnt know which program to choose, I would really like to learn more about writing scripts but most of the people there have way more experience than i do
